Puppy Training Programs
Puppy Campout

Is a 2 week boarding and training
program designed for puppies that
already have a paw in the right
direction.  It concentrates on

DOGGIE MANNERS
and the
introduction of commands. This
option is for puppies that already
have a strong basis in
HOUSE
BREAKING
and CRATE TRAINING.

All of our Puppy Programs are designed for young dogs between the
ages of 12 weeks and 6 months.  Teaching
DOGGIE MANNERS is the
foundation of all our puppy programs. Basic obedience will be
introduced using
LURE TRAINING and FREE FORM TRAINING
techniques and positive reinforcement.
CRATE TRAINING and HOUSE
BREAKING
are also heavily encouraged.  At K-9 Bootcamp we only
board and train 2 puppies each session to ensure plenty of one-on-one
attention.
Upon completion of the boarding portion of this program we will return
your puppy to your home for your in-home training session. At that time
we will review everything your puppy has learned and answer any
questions that you may have.  We will address basic dog psychology,
proper reinforcement (both positive and negative), and show you how to
maintain and increase your puppy's obedience level.  We will schedule
our next follow-up session to be conducted within 7-10 days of your
puppy's return home.  This session is designed to help with any
transitional issues that may arise.  These programs also include our
comprehensive Training Manual.

Is a 4 week boarding and training
program designed for puppies with
no training experience.  The first
half of this program concentrates on

CRATE TRAINING and HOUSE
BREAKING
. Once the puppy has a
good foundation in Potty Training we
then focus on
DOGGIE MANNERS
and the introduction of basic
commands.

and "Good" dogs "Better".
Will my puppy forget me?

The beautiful thing about dogs is that once you are
"pack" you are "pack" for life!  Your puppy will not
forget you and will quickly recognize you upon your
return.  This will be obvious to you on graduation day
when you witness your puppy's excited greeting when
you arrive.
House Training?

Potty Training requires reasonable expectations.
No - your dog will not be able to have complete
freedom in your home immediately upon his/her
return.  House breaking is based on consistency.
We will establish a good routine for your dog
based on your family's schedule.  Your puppy will
have the knowledge necessary to be successfully
house trained (with a little practice) upon their
return.  Freedom must be earned not given. We
will teach you easy to follow guidelines in order to
ensure your puppy's house training success.
What are "doggie manners"?

Doggie Manners includes but is not limited to:
nipping, biting, jumping up on people, jumping on
furniture, running out open doors, greeting
people properly, socializing with other dogs,
socializing with children, barking, whining,
chewing, and other destructive behaviors.
Is 2 weeks enough time?

Our program is designed to utilize as much time during the 2
week process as we can.  However, if your puppy is needing
further assistance with housetraining we do suggest booking 2
sessions for a stay of 4 weeks to ensure enough time to develop
a strong basis in the housetraining/crate training skills.
