K-9 Bootcamp
Where we make "Bad" dogs "Good"
and "Good" dogs "Better".

Puppy recruiting

Puppy Recruiting is a program that we offer at K-9
Bootcamp to help you find the perfect dog for your
family.

This program is offered FREE OF CHARGE!

If you are looking for a puppy or an older dog to add to
your family we would love to help you.  This program
consists of a consultation to determine what breed or
mix of breeds would be suitable to your family based on
your wants and needs in a dog.  After our initial
consultation we will provide you with several breeds of
dogs that we have determined to fit your criteria.  Once
a breed is determined we will help you locate a breeder,
rescue or shelter and if the location is within the DFW
Metrolplex we will also temperament test the dogs in
order to ensure the right temperament for your family.
We have a list of reputable breeders that we work with
as well as experience with rescue and shelter dogs.

Choosing a new family member can be difficult as all
puppies and dogs are cute!  We would love the
opportunity to assist you and your family with this life
changing decision.

If we can ensure that the right dog goes to the right
home then we can help keep dogs out of the shelters -
one home at a time!
Dakota - Golden Retriever
Henry C - one happy Yellow Lab!
Eva - German Shepherd
Are you sure there is no
fee for this program?

YES - we are certain!  K-9 Bootcamp is
committed to reducing the number of
animals in shelters.  We know that we
cannot save every dog but if we can
start by reducing the number that get
there because of misbehavior or simply
unmatched personalities we know it is a
start.  This is one of the most rewarding
programs that we offer!
How do we get started?

Give us a call.  We will discuss your
wants and needs in a pet and then
prepare to begin our search.  We do ask
for patience as finding the right family
member can take a little time.  We can
schedule your initial consultation and
begin looking within a week!
Is training required with this program?

No - it is not required.  We would love the opportunity to continue
working with your family in a training capacity but it is not a
requirement of this program.  If you choose to, your puppy or dog can
come directly from it's previous location and go directly into training to
avoid developing bad habits and manners.  Or if you prefer, your new
addition can come home and get acclimated and then return for training
at a later date.  However, you are not required to utilize any of our
training programs if you choose not to.
Salem - Black Lab mix
Nelly - Heeler mix
